What defines Bozeman? The National Citizens Survey™ asked this very question. According to it’s residents, the quality of life in Bozeman is “excellent”, due to our recreational opportunities, quality of air, and educational prospects.

According to the survey, 63% of our residents volunteered in the last year. This community support keeps programs such as Thrive, Big Sky Youth Empowerment, Eagle Mount, Big Brothers and Sisters, and the plethora of other non-profits thriving in our area.

As our community has grown, Bozeman has worked hard to integrate the big box corporations that make all of our lives a bit easier within a framework of small business that maintains a fantastic downtown lifestyle as well as giving residents the opportunity to purchase unique gifts and clothing with individual style.

For those resident shoppers, Bozeman is nestled in-between two major hubs. Spokane, WA is just six hours away (driving) and provides great shopping opportunities including the infamous Nordstrom’s. Denver, CO is also six hours away and is able to satisfy even the most eclectic shopper!

Healthy lifestyle is the cornerstone of Bozeman. With Yellowstone National Park only one hour south of Bozeman and Glacier National Park five hours north, Bozemanites have easy access to national wonders many citizens worldwide dream of having the chance to explore. World class skiing is just out our back door with Big Sky forty-five minutes from Bozeman and Bridger Bowl (a local’s favorite) just twenty minutes from your front door.

O.k., so Bozeman is a community of roughly 40,000 active, happy, community centered citizens. What does that create? We have great local stores providing a quality shopping experience, as well as the variety of big box stores. We have expanded our community while maintaining the small town atmosphere of community support that was the foundation of expansion upon which this great town was built. Nationally, we have been repeatedly recognized as one of the best places on the planet, for any demographic. Our residents are supported by a think-tank economy which helps maintain our mountain fresh air and clean streets. Our real estate economy is sheltered from the national real estate trends due to the lifestyle we have created. If you considering a move to Montana but are not ready to abandon the big city amenities, then explore all Bozeman has to offer.
